(parents, allies, or friends)
can work confidently with self-advocates using one-on-one support to deepen the Virtual Job Coach learning experience.Hear from self-advocates
about their experience.
Why It Works
Designed by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities.
Research-based, research-validated approach and content.
Incremental instruction illustrating skills and strategies step by step.
Video models, graphics, and audio playback on every screen to support audio-visual learners.
Clutter-free workspace minimizes distractions and supports sensory needs.
Partner support guides help partners deepen learners’ understanding.
How It Works
The learner works at his/her own pace, completing each module and unit step-by-step, or skipping around to focus on what’s important to him/her.
The parent, ally, or friend uses partner support guides to work one-on-one with the learner, stimulating meaningful discussion, practicing social skills using role plays, and completing real-world explorations to extend learning beyond the screen.
